Here are some stories of people who are thinking globally and living generously.

Markham Middle School: Edwin Markham Middle School students are giving-up their snacks, munchies and lunches, while parents and faculty are forgoing their morning lattes, breakfasts, and lunches to provide clean, safe water for West Africans. Markham Middle School (Los Angeles) has partnered with Global Fast and Generosity Water to build a clean water well in Liberia, one of the poorest counties in the world. Students, faculty, staff and parents will donate the money they would have spent on a meal or snack that day. Their $1500 goal will be matched by Generosity Water and used to build a well that will provide 20 years of clean water for an estimated 500 people in Liberia.

South Shore Church Children’s Ministry: As part of a student ministry project, 45 elementary students in Orange County, California collected coins from their friends and relatives to help build a water well. At the end of the project the students raised $1,000. The students were so inspired by their own accomplishment they continued their fund raising efforts and ultimately raised $2,000.

Kahve Azarnoush: 13-year-old student organized a bake sale at his school to raise money to build a water wel.
  Oasis Youth: A group of 40 jr. high and high school students were given a 2 liter soda bottle to drink, and then fill with change. They are almost to their goal of raising $3,000 for a water well in Africa
A Child: On Easter, an 8-year-old child gave Generosity Water an Easter egg of coins they saved to donate toward building a water well.
  Chyler Leigh: Grey’s Anatomy star Chyler Leigh donated her time to record a PSA, raising awareness about the global water crisis. Watch Chyler’s PSA.
  Jason Kennedy:  E! News journalist Jason Kennedy is on our advisory board and has generously donated his time
over the past 2 years in helping with Generosity Water events and also recorded a public service announcement (PSA) to help raise awareness. Watch Jason’s PSA. 
  Rebecca Mader: Part of ABC’s LOST cast, Rebecca donated her time to record a PSA, raising awareness about the global water crisis. Watch Rebecca’s PSA.
